Gold share rally turns into dead cat bounce

Does this mean it’s safe to enter the water again?

Gold has been in retreat in the last three weeks over higher inflation and interest rate fears, with the spot price falling nearly 7% since the beginning of September.

That has dragged JSE gold shares 20-40% lower – raising the question whether the rout is over, or whether it is safe to re-enter the water again.
